Jonathan N. Brown
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I am finishing my dissertation on secrecy and power in military basing negotiations. I will graduate and receive my Ph.D. in May 2012.
My research focuses mainly on leaders’ management of national security information during international cooperation and conflict. More broadly, my research and teaching interests include international relations theory; war and conflict studies (interstate, intrastate, and transnational); diplomacy, bargaining, and negotiations; foreign policy decision making; domestic political accountability; and military strategy.
